Vintage Westite Slag Glass Akro Agate Window Vase Dart Tab Handle Planter Brown
Narrow rectangular bell-shaped jardiniere in cream and brown slag glass.
Darts design on one side with small ear handles on each end.
This narrow planter was often referred to as a "shelf vase".
It is approximately 4 3/8" tall, 5" wide and 2 1/2" deep.
The vase does not have a maker's mark but is documented as a Westite design.
It possibly dates from the time in the 1930's when the Westite factory burned down and Akro Agate bought all of the Westite molds.
The vase has numerous tiny chips and flakes around the upper edge especially at the side seams and corners.
The interior is clean without any mineral deposits.
