Description
This listing features a splendid two (2) cut specimen lot of petrified, agatized fossil wood originating from Coal Mine Basin and along Succor Creek in Eastern Oregon's Owyhee Mountains! Both specimens display exceptional coloration, both on the exterior and interior of the fossil woods, and ring growth structure with cellular replacement via mineralization is evident with both opal and agate! Together, both fossil wood specimens weigh 3 pounds 6.5 ounces. Individually, the petrified, agatized woods weigh and measure 1.) 1 pound 12.9 ounces, 116mm by 83mm by 93mm 2.) 1 pound 9.6 ounces, 113mm by 100mm by 83mm. All photos taken of the specimens while wet, excluding the final two photos which show the petrified wood while dry. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as the specimens can be packaged in a manner that minimizes the potential for damage.
