    Description

    Available in this listing is a rare and beautiful stand up display specimen of petrified wood originating from the Sand Hollow area in South Central Idaho! The display piece has a cut base that allows it to stand upright for presentation of the fair polished face. The exterior of the specimen on the reverse side shows hundreds of tiny surface dendrites! The display slab piece measures 220mm by 71mm by 48mm. The fossil wood weighs 1 pound 4.5 ounces. All photographs taken while the petrified Vale Wood was dry excluding the final two photographs and the photographs of the cut base which portray the petrified wood while wet. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as the specimens can be packaged in a manner that minimizes the potential for damage.
