    This is a rare green, light blueish green and brown jasper replaced petrified wood limb cast specimen which has been polished on one side and which was collected from Oregon. There are only a handful of places in the world that produces green colored petrified wood. This fossilized wood is Oligocene in age. This shades of green and brown jasper fossilized petrified wood specimen measures 5.09 inches long by 3.93 inches wide and weighs 1 pound 4 ounces. Most of the fossilized wood collected in this area of Oregon is identified as Coniferous, Cypress, Sequoia and Quercus (oak).This amazing specimen would be an excellent addition to any rock and mineral collection.
