#13363 is a large set of petrified wood bookends weighing 12.8 pounds. They are 13” wide, 8” high and 1 7/8” thick standing vertically, or 16 1/4” wide 6 3/8” high and 1 7/8” thick standing horizontally. They have perfect multicolored bark, beautiful natural cavities and are many shades of blue and brown with light yellow and gold highlights.
This set was taken from a tree that lived, died and petrified in what we now refer to as Hampton Butte, Oregon during the Eocene Epoch more than
55 million years before present (mybp).
The front is polished to a mirror finish and the bottom and sides are felted to protect your bookshelf.
