#13482 is an extra large pair of petrified wood bookends that are beige, brown, amber, gray and green.  They have beautiful multicolored bark, small natural cavities and long fissures. They weigh 17.6 pounds and are 13 3/4” wide, 8 1/4” tall and 2 1/8” thick standing vertically or 16 1/2” wide 7” tall and 2 1/8” thick standing horizontally.
This set was taken from a tree closely resembling what we now refer to as Cypress that lived, died and petrified during the Miocene Epoch more than 23 million years ago on Saddle Mountain in
Eastern Washington State
.
Their front is polished to a mirror finish and their bottom and sides are felted to protect your bookshelf.
