#13468 is a medium size petrified wood Round/Slab weighing 2.0 pounds that is polished to a mirror finish. It is 8 1/2” @ its widest, 6 3/4” @ its narrowest and 1/2” thick with many shades of brown from cream to very dark chocolate and hints of gray. It has small fissures, some filled with light blue Chalcedony, perfect multicolored bark and a plethora of compressed growth lines indicating it was taken from a tree that lived a long life struggling for survival in an arid clime, eventually dying and petrifying during the Miocene Epoch more than 23 million years ago near what we now refer to as
McDermitt, Oregon.
