#13493 is a medium size pair of petrified wood bookends weighing 7.4 pounds. They are 10” wide, 6 1/4” tall and 1 3/4” thick standing vertically or 12” wide, 4 3/4” tall and 1 3/4” thick standing horizontally. They have perfect multicolored bark and are many shades of brown with small natural cavities and fissures, some filled with white and some with light blue Chalcedony. They were taken from a tree that lived, died and petrified during the Miocene Epoch more than 23 million years ago near what we now refer to as
McDermitt, Oregon.
They are polished to a mirror finish and the bottom and sides are felted to protect your bookshelf.
