    #13465 is a small-medium pair of petrified wood bookends weighing 6.0 pounds. They are 10 3/8” wide, 5 1/2” tall and 1 3/4” thick standing vertically or 11” wide, 5 1/8” tall and 1 3/4” thick standing horizontally. They are many shades of brown from beige to very dark chocolate, have perfect bark and a plethora of distinct growth lines. They were taken from a tree that lived, died and  petrified in the Trout Creek formation during the Miocene Epoch more than 23 million years ago near what we now refer to as
    McDermitt, Oregon.
    They are polished to a mirror finish and the bottom and sides are felted to protect your bookshelf.
