    Offered here is an awesome Blue Forest Schinoxylon sp. petrified wood specimen from the Eocene Green River Formation, Eden Valley, Wyoming.
    The specimen measures 4.25 x 3 x 1.5 inch and is wrapped in its chalcedony cocoon. Cut on one end, natural on the other. So, 50,000,000 years ago this tree fell into Lake Gosiute accumulating an algae cocoon with the ages, at that point the chalcedony penetrated in filling the voids. A wonderful specimen!.
