    Description

    Interesting segment of Blue Forest Wyoming petrified wood. Excellent visible wood grain, outside and inside. Cut ends can be polished to a soft sheen if so desired. Great addition to a fossil, rock or mineral collection or for research, teaching, or educational purposes.  Photos taken dry and wet to give an idea of the look when polished. Both end slivers are included.
    Approximate measurements are 3" x 2" x 1".
    Blue Forest wood dates to the Eocene and is approximately 33-56 million years old.
